Recurring Places in Dreams
I have a place I have been to many times in the past, though I have never been there in real life, at least not in this life. The home has two floors and there are many passageways. I am aware of all the spirits that reside there. I will go to this house to speak with certain spirits depending on the problem I need help with. As a kid I was always scared of this house, but as I grew I learned this is my safe house. It is a confusing set up, as I imagine most houses in a dream can be, but it is on a piece of land with a view of a huge lake. A lake the size of one of the Great Lakes between America and Canada, and has a large boat house. I dreamt of this property a few nights ago. I was at the water's edge setting up my paddleboard. The water was calm and the tide was high. Perfect conditions for a paddle. A few small animals jumped on my board with me and I proceeded to paddle through the water trails. In the past, when I dreamt of this place, the tide was low and my fin dragged through the sand. Not enough to stop me, just enough to slow me down. This was not the case a few nights ago. The tide was high and conditions were perfect.
Tonight’s dream, however, I was in the boat house on the property. A storm rolled in and the animals were terrified. I noticed they were hiding in covered spaces, in cabinets or simply placing a blanket over their faces. One blanket was shared by a horse, a giant tortoise, a chicken and a goat. As I walked through my dogs were by my side confidently following me. I went to find all the blankets I had. The water began to churn and white caps began to form. Waves grew in size and water started to seep into the house. I remained calm knowing we were all safe. I started making forts with all the blankets, like I used to make as a kid. The animals flocked under them for a false sense of safety. I knew they would be OK and the storm would pass but if the blankets made them feel better then I will continue to make blanket forts throughout the dwelling. A chicken jumped into my arms and I carried it as I searched for more blankets and sheets. I pulled out my phone and recorded a video, I planned to send it to my family that lives over 1000 miles away. I knew they would be watching the storm reports and worry, I wanted to let them know I would be OK. The video came out horrible and I decided a text message would suffice. At this point I could feel the water cover my feet and ankles as it crept under the doorways. Looking out the window I could see the raging waters though I still had a sense of calm and I knew we would all be safe. I continued to walk with my dogs by my side and a chicken in my arms. The animals seemed to calm under my blanket forts and settle to sleep. I looked out another window to see a beautiful sky as the sun began to crest over the water because dawn was approaching. The sunrise painted the clouds a vibrant orange and red. I thought of Grandma Carol and how I never appreciated those colors as much as I did after talking with her spirit.
The water calmed.
The storm was passing. I smiled and woke up.
Interpreting Your Dreams
There is so much significance in this dream I knew I had to get up immediately and write it all down. Honestly I had my thoughts on everything in the dream but I typed it out and put it into AI and asked for an analysis. Sure enough, it confirmed my thoughts but with a little extra. Things I hadn't considered.
I dreamt of this same spot, I have never been there in this incarnation, but it was my intuitive home base. The land meets water symbolic of my waking mind meeting my intuitive one. The fact that the house now had an extension and met the water told me I am now at one with both sides of me. My living self and my medium self. In the dream I am the calm, protective leader for all walks of life. This confirms how I feel about starting my YouTube, my chat groups and writing my books. I'm ready to help and lead others with the confidence I have been cultivating my entire life. The storm waters represented the outside world and its opinions that no longer concerned me. The text to my family knowing they trust in me when I say I'm OK, they need no further proof. The morning sky painted the colors of the chakras connected to the earth, tells me I'm safely rooted in my direction, in my life and in my choices.
Chat GPT came up with the same conclusions I had about all the details in this dream. I wanted to see if AI would catch something I might have missed, but the messages in that dream were so clear, there was no mistaking or missing anything.
2026 would be the year I come out of hiding and this powerful dream confirmed I am making the right choice. I am ready, my family is ready, and the individuals I hope to help, to comfort, to protect and lead, are waiting for their blanket forts.
