When Mediums All See the Same Spirit: The Story of “Hello Man”
This blog is another confirmation of my abilities—and I hope you don’t get tired of these stories, because I never will.
If you’ve read my post titled “Sarah’s Garage,” you already know my neighbors are fully aware of my abilities as a psychic medium. But this story takes it to another level.
Meeting “Hello Man” – The Neighborhood Spirit
Let me introduce you to Hello Man. From what I’ve learned, this spirit has been haunting our neighborhood for quite some time.
One evening, while I was chatting with my neighbors—whose daughter is also a spirit medium—she began telling me about a ghost that kept startling her. He never hurt her or did anything harmful, but he would jump out and say hello. That’s how he earned the name Hello Man.
As she spoke, I suddenly asked if Hello Man wore a top hat, like the kind you always see Abe Lincoln pictured in. Her mother quickly turned to me, asking why I’d bring that up. I told her I kept seeing the image of a tall man wearing a top hat.
She went inside and returned moments later with a piece of paper—a drawing. To my surprise, it was the exact same man I had been seeing in my mind’s eye.
“When did you draw this?” I asked her daughter. I’d seen her journal before, and this picture wasn’t in it. The paper was loose, clearly not torn from any notebook.
Her mom then explained that the drawing wasn’t her daughter’s—it was her son’s, drawn almost ten years ago.
Her daughter looked at it and said, “That’s him. That’s the man who keeps saying hi to me.”
A Spirit Known Around the Block
Just then, another neighbor—we’ll call her Lisa—walked over to say hello. Yes, I live in one of those neighborhoods where everyone knows and looks out for one another.
Lisa glanced at the drawing and said, “Hey, I’ve seen him.”
It turns out, Hello Man doesn’t just visit Stella—he’s known throughout the block. Lisa’s guests have even woken up in the middle of the night to see a tall, slender man in a top hat standing in their rooms. She just laughs it off, saying, “Yeah, he likes to visit.”
We still don’t know why this spirit only speaks to Stella, but one thing became clear: it was time to set spiritual boundaries.
What Happens When You Set Boundaries with a Spirit?
Well… Hello Man didn’t take it well.
After Stella’s mom set a firm “not allowed in the house” rule, he decided to up his game—tapping on windows and doors late at night, making his presence known in new, unnerving ways.
That’s when I called in for spiritual reinforcements. I said a prayer and asked my loved ones on the other side to protect Stella and her family. I told them I was willing to help Hello Man cross over if that’s what he needed—whether it meant lighting a candle, delivering a message, or simply holding space for him to move on peacefully.
A Dream of Revelation
That night, I had a vivid dream.
Hello Man was trying to knock on Stella’s window, but a giant pink furry monster was sitting on her AC fan, blocking him. Hello Man wouldn’t come near it. Then, my brother-in-law appeared beside the monster—calm, protective, and strong. His fatherly energy filled the dream, wrapping Stella in safety.
When I woke, I knew exactly what that meant.
For those new to my blog, I lost my 23-year-old brother-in-law when I was 17. He died in a car crash on his way to work. And yet, here he was—still protecting, still watching over those who need it.
Conclusion
Hello Man still makes his presence known from time to time, but now it’s far less scary and much more manageable. He understands his spiritual boundaries, and sometimes, with spirit energy, that’s all you can really ask for.
Every encounter like this reminds me that mediumship is real, that the spirit world communicates in powerful ways, and that we’re never truly alone.
